Miniature Float Pivoted Level Switch

The working principle of a Miniature Float Pivoted Level Switch involves the use of a float with a trim-carrying magnet that moves around a pivot on the switch enclosure.

As the liquid level rises or falls, the float follows the liquid and actuates the reed switch, which provides a switching output. The switch is side mounted to the tank wall, and in some models, reversible switch action can be achieved by rotating the switch by 180°.
