The “Vibrating Diamond Blade Level Switch” is powered by a piezo crystal drive that induces a resonance frequency in its vibrating system. When bulk solids cover the vibrating blade of the probe, the vibration is dampened, and the electronic circuitry detects this and triggers a switch.

As the level decreases and the blade becomes uncovered, the probe resumes its vibration, and the switch returns to its original state. This switch is incredibly versatile and suitable for use in applications with frequently changing contents since there’s no need for calibration based on material characteristics.
